Vinland Saga season one has been out for some time and now it is time for season two to make its appearance.

Season 2 of Vinland Saga might disappoint some viewers who are more habituated to watching typical shonen shows (I am not saying that shonen shows are bad, I also am a fan of anime shows like One Piece) because Vinland Saga season 2 is going to take a different approach as in the manga where the main protagonist gets enslaved and is sold to work in a farm and instead of fighting back like most main characters in shonen shows, he gives up on his life and wonders if his life ever meant anything. The show from season 2 can be called 100% seinen and one of a kind. It might have taken a dark turn which according to me is what makes the show a masterpiece, the concept of realism, freedom, and love that is portrayed in this story is outstanding. I personally am excited to watch the animated version of the show

The farm/slave arc has 45 chapters. (55 to 99)

Here is the summary of the first 5 chapters if you need a good overview of how the story of the second season might go.

Slave 

Einar, a man of around twenty who used to tend fields in Northern England, is oppressed and brought to a town by boat alongside different slaves. He attempts to get away a couple of times, yet faces hindrances like craving and is eventually gotten all the time. Ultimately, he acknowledges his situation: that there is no point in looking for opportunity when nobody is coming for him as well as his home is far away, and that as long as he behaves like an appropriate slave, he will basically not starve. Leif comes to the slave market and investigates Einar; exasperated, he reminds the slave master that he is searching for a little, light kid named Thorfinn, who seems to be Einar. He inquires as to whether he knows anything, as Leif is sure Thorfinn was sold around here, however, the slave master knows nothing more, and Leif leaves disheartened. A whiskery man named Ketil comes after Leif and purchases Einar, acquiring him to his ranch in Jutland, Denmark. They show up toward the finish of June. Ketil shows Einar his broad homestead and the woods that will turn into his next wheat field. He calls Thorfinn out of the woodland to acquaint him with Einar.

Ketil Farm

In late June of 1015, Ketil acquaints Einar with Thorfinn, whom he will work with. Ketil lets Einar know that he is loaning them the land they are deforesting and that he will purchase the yields they develop on it at a fair cost; assuming their harvests procure them more than the sum they were purchased for, they will actually want to buy their opportunity, possible in three years or less. Einar meets Peter, who works for Ketil subsequent to having purchased his own opportunity the same way. Einar excitedly starts working, yet before long figures out that the laborers don't treat the slaves well when they scarcely bring any nourishment for his and Thorfinn's lunch. Against Thorfinn's recommendation, Einar nearly reports the laborers to Ketil toward the finish of their typical working day, yet he is occupied when he recognizes a delightful light-haired lady at Ketil's party.

Young Master 

Einar is charmingly astonished to see a man however rich as Ketil seems to be trying to do difficult work in the fields. He notices him getting into contention with a youngster; Thorfinn lets him know it's Ketil's child, Omar, who is set to acquire the homestead. Omar hollers at Ketil that he never believed the homestead and needs should advance upon the planet with his blade. That evening, Einar tells Thorfinn that Olmar doesn't understand how fortunate he is and likely thinks that fighters are cool since he's never known war. He tells Thorfinn of the twice his town was gone after by various militaries and remarks that he despises champions and that they are monsters in human covers. Somewhere else, a disappointed Olmar leaves a young lady he has quite recently had relations with after she remarks he ought to consider assuming control over the homestead as opposed to turning into a hero. On out, he passes by the young lady's folks and lets them know he realizes they need his dad's fortune and figure they can live richly by turning out to be essential for the Ketil family. They are brought to the post, where Einar is astounded to see Omar holding up a blade. Einar is stunned they'll be killed for no great explanation; Fox says that their life isn't theirs, yet the bosses. Einar answers that there'll be ramifications for their demises, as they have a place with Ketil, not Omar. Fox urges the delaying Olmar to kill them, beginning with Einar. Einar wrecks Olmar and shouts at Thorfinn to take off and alarm Ketil. Apparently unbothered by the circumstance, Thorfinn tranquility advises the men to allow Einar to return to work and to chop him down all things considered.

Snake

Snake is introduced in this chapter.
 A compassionate man who is genuinely concerned for other people.
Snake has all the earmarks of being in his center to late 30s. Fox starts chopping Thorfinn with his sword continuously, before he could chop off Thorfinn's eyes Snake intervenes and stops Fox.
Thorfinn has given up on life and considers his life not worth living for.
Snake attacks Thorfinn who answers by throwing a kick at his face but is easily blocked and punched back. Now Thorfinn realizes that Snake has strength greater than Askeladd and speed that nearly matches him.
Snake leaves after concluding that Thorfinn and Einar are to be sent back safely. Thorfinn is still not convinced and still doubts if his life truly means anything.
